Anton Kilian is a Below Knee Amputee who is extremely well rehabilitated, lives a very active lifestyle and works long-standing hours.
Today, it was time for a new prosthetic leg.
We cast him in a 3-stage casting technique under vacuum to manufacture him an elevated vacuum socket with the Harmony P4 system from Otto Bock and supplied him with a Taleo Foot.
This is a high vacuum system, and the socket fit is crucial as any space inside the socket will be sucked in to form blood blisters. So, he is on a test socket for the next week to see if all is ok…..
After this, we will manufacture the final carbon laminated socket.
