Silas Mesolo

It is always a rewarding feeling if trust is built between the amputee and prosthetist (me) and when they leave with a smile. Today, we manufactured a Below Knee Prosthesis with Ossur’s Direct Socket System, used a pin lock as suspension, and used the Trias Foot of Otto Bock. Silas has been an amputee for many years, and he knows what he wants. The challenge was big as he has a very atrophied stump, which is very skinny and bony, making a comfortable fit a challenge.
