At Deist and Associates, we’re honoured to work with incredible individuals like Mrs. Erlank, who’s been a part of our prosthetic family for many years. Despite facing numerous challenges, including a below-knee amputation since childhood and a recent severe fracture, Mrs. Erlank’s determination and resilience inspire us every day.
After 9 months in a wheelchair, Mrs. Erlank came to us with a goal to walk again. We were unsure of the outcome, but her courage and perseverance amazed us. Our team worked tirelessly to create a custom prosthesis that would meet her unique needs – a Single Axis Foot, Knee joints with leather Thigh Corset, Waist belt, and Silesian belt.
With her new prosthesis, Mrs. Erlank rose above the challenge and proved that with the right mindset and support, anything is possible. We’re thrilled to see her walking again with confidence and independence.
