After months of rehabilitation, hard work, and perseverance, today marks an incredible milestone for Johan De Villiers. We had the absolute honour of fitting him with his final, definitive prosthesis!
Johan’s journey began after his motorcycle accident, and from day one, his amazing spirit and positive attitude have inspired us all. Over the past few months, we’ve worked closely with him, adapting to the aggressive volume changes in his limb by fitting him with five different test sockets, each ensuring the perfect fit as his limb stabilised.
Now, Johan is stepping into the future with a Harmony Active Vacuum System and the Evanto Foot from Otto Bock – a combination designed for comfort, stability, and maximum mobility. The Harmony system provides superior suspension, reducing movement within the socket for a secure and natural feel. At the same time, the Evanto foot offers energy return and adaptability for a smooth, effortless stride.
