De Waal Weideman has been an amputee for the past 44 years and is a Syme’s amputee (an amputation through the ankle joint where the heel pad is preserved to allow for weight-bearing).
His current prosthesis setup includes a built-up Pe Lite liner paired with a Pro Syme’s Foot from Otto Bock, a reliable, functional solution that has stood the test of time.
