Silicone Insoles absorb shock on the heavy load areas of the foot. The insole supports the arch (valgus) area of the foot and aids the metatarsal area by supplying a cushion area for shock absorption. The silicone insole is manufactured in such a way that it hugs and supports the foot as it presses on the ground through the different phases of the gait process.
A plaster cast of the patient’s feet is used to manufacture insoles. A soft material is used in the manufacture to ensure comfort while giving maximum support to the arch and metatarsal areas of the foot.
