Mr Frambs is another of our success stories. He is an 84 year old man who has lost his left arm above his elbow due to malignant cancer. This is a bad amputation to receive as it is very difficult to control and manage an above elbow prosthesis. After 3 consultations and long open discussions about all the limitations of an above elbow prosthesis, especially for an elderly patient like him, we decided together to manufacture him a cosmetic above elbow prosthesis.It consists of modular light weight aluminium componentry and a well fitted lined socket. Mr Frambs survived serious surgery and wears his prosthetic arm very proud. He once again learned us that anything is possible at any age! Well done!!
