There are a vast number of prosthetic feet available, and our prosthetists are familiar with the majority of them. There are non-articulated feet and articulated or moveable feet, the latter being moveable on either a single axis or a multiple axis. There are also dynamic response feet for higher levels of activity. Based on a consultation between our prosthetist and the patient, we will evaluate the different types of foot available and make our recommendations. We will ensure that you are well aware of all of the pros and cons of the various designs. The final choice will depend on the type and level of activity envisaged and on the aesthetics of the various designs.
