David Bouwer

David Bouwer is our rough diamond. He is a very positive person and has continued with his fast and fearless life, as if nothing has happened! David has lost his leg above his knee after a serious motorbike accident!

David is self employed and had no choice to continue his life as an industrial plumber, walking on building sites with lots of uneven terrain, climbing scaffolding and work in all sorts of difficult to reach areas. Dave has been one of our 1st amputees who reached 1000 000 steps on his Rheo Knee joint. He rides faster than before on his speed bike and live life to its fullest!
